Have you ever wanted to travel the globe, but found yourself with not enough money? How about traveling for free? It is not impossible. All you have to do is become an “Outside Agent” or “Group Travel Organizer” for a travel agency, and you are on your way to free vacations!
Travel agencies have many domestic and international tour packages available that last anywhere from ten to fourteen days. These packages also have requirements on the amount of people that need to go. Each tour requires about ten to thirty people, so they are continuously searching for people to sign up for the tours. All travel agencies accept any help that they can get in recruiting people for these tours, and if you put one of these groups together, you can receive a free vacation with all expenses paid.
To get started, you need to find a travel agency. You can drive around town, or do an online search for new ones. Once you locate a travel agency, contact them and let them know that you would like to give them a group of people to sign up for a tour, in exchange for a free trip. Before you make any agreements, be sure to find out exactly how many people you need to sign up in order for you to receive the trip. Also be sure to ask if airfare is covered, because a lot of times, the travel agency will cover only the hotel and included attractions and not the airfare. You must also discuss all of the traveling basics such as dates and times, schedules, food, accommodation, transportation, and most importantly, cost. You will need all of this information not only for yourself, but also for the people you are going to have sign up for the trip. Most of the time the travel agency will supply you with brochures that have your contact information on them. If they do not, don’t be afraid to ask. Many agencies are willing to go far to help you in getting them as many tourists as possible.
When you begin to put your group together, have a plan. Begin by going to family members, friends, and co-workers. Place flyers and brochures in every person’s hand, desk, car or door that you can. Do not stop trying once you hand out all of your brochures. You can also e-mail many of the people you know, and ask them to forward the message to all the people they know. Your trip information will spread like wild fire and have people signing up in no time. Another nice way of informing people about your trip proposal is to place messages on their social sites, or on classifieds such as craigslist. Many websites also accept free articles, and you can offer them an article about your planned destination. Make sure that the website keeps your contact information on the article because without it, your article will not bring you anybody in.
You can also hold presentations in various locations. Many places such as churches, retirement organizations, Veterans groups, Kiwis, American Legion and Rotary Club are looking for places to travel as a large group most of the time. You can even hold a presentation in the comfort of your own home. Be sure to invite family, friends and neighbors, and have them invite people that would also be interested in traveling. An important key when presenting your proposal at these locations is to make your public comfortable. Try to offer beverages and snacks along with a bountiful amount of flyers to hand out. If you are not very comfortable speaking in front of such a large group, you can ask one of the travel agents from the agency, and have them present the trip.
Once you have collected a group of tourists, collect the required deposits. This must be done early because it ensures you that your group is serious about going. You would not want any of them to drop out in the middle of your planning, thus making you look again for more people to complete the group. If any of the members of your group feel uncomfortable paying a deposit, ensure them that most deposits are refundable up to a certain date (just be sure to ask the travel agent ahead of time). After the deposits are collected, give each member their travel voucher. The voucher should include all of the information about the trip such as the departure date, time, and location. It is crucial that your group always stays informed about each trip detail to make sure that none of them are missing out.
After all of your hard efforts are done, and your goal has been accomplished, you are rewarded with your free trip. You can enjoy the tour that you have been putting together for such a long time, and not even have to pay a penny for it. When you get back home, do it again!
